Anodization system
SMF has build a anodization system capable of performing either galvanostatic or potentiostatic anodization procedures, that allow us to control the process and produce self-organized materials such as porous anodic tantalum or growth protective coatings on metals. The system is couple with a DC Power supply (Agilent N5751A DC Power supply), a digit multimeter (Agilent 34450A 5 1/2 Digit Multimeter), a polypropylene anodization cell and a stir plate to homogenize the electrolyte solution. The anodization process can be controlled manually or with a "designed" software to acquire the data.
